My reaction to his work is I feel its amazing and it looks really cool how he decided to take pictures with the object over lapping more than once.

I think he made these photos by taking the picture once and then taking the picture the second time then the third time but now editing them and morphing them together.

I have seen some great buildings near downtown some pretty tall skyscrapers as well as buildings that are taller than skyscrapers, so I think that the skyscraper would be best to take photos like he did. These are located near downtown there are several of them its easy access to take photographs to them.

I selected this as my favorite.

I selected this photo because I think that it looks really cool that the book is also his face as well. I found this photograph in the category of Photo Journalist of the year (Smaller markets). This photo ended up to be found in first place, The photographer did that catched my eyes was the fact he used the contrast colors of black and white. I think the judges decided to make the arrangement of this photograph being first place because the contrast colors and the fact that his face is also made into the book. What the photographer had to do to make this photo unique is he had to make the colors to one color or else it wouldn't be shown that well as his face being shown in the book.

I selected this photograph because I feel sympathy for this strong woman for her to actually stand their and get her faced flashed by a camera knowing she's burnt. I found this photo in the category of Local Portrait and Personality. This photo won the award of being first place, What the photographer did that catches my eyes was that he just took a picture of her face to show the true inner beauty of how strong she is. I feel the judges wanted this to be first place because the story behind this woman and what she went through. What the photographer had to do to make this photo unique is they had to just take a picture of her face and let the rest explain by itself. Her face explains what she went through.

I chose this photo because I think that theres a cute story behind this photograph. I found this photograph in the category of domestic news, The award this photo won was first place. What the photographer did to catch my eye was take this photo on the scene of the streets surrounded around a riot of police. I think the judges decided to make this first place because of the photograph where the scene was taken. What the photographer had to do to get this photograph to be unique is to take this photo with a big riot of police and to take this photo from far away to catch whats going on.

Three things photographers should remember when out shooting are
 Take a photo showing perspective
Being able to capture a story telling expression is an awesome skill to have as a photographer.
AA good skill to have as a photographer is to look at things from different angles to get the best shot. shoot

The main points of this story is there trying to come across the point that editing a photo is not okay. Especially by the person that took the photograph, That editing a photo can make the photograph look like something its really not because its only what your eyes see. There was a lesson learned by editing photographs that were not meant to be edited. Therefore the photographer doesn't like that and neither does the eyes of the viewers or the news reporters. There was consequences due to editing a photo that wasn't yours.

This type of photo editing is unethical because there was a photograph shown with Isreali prime Minister Benjamin and President Shimon Peres and the members of the government pose for an official photograph in Jerusalem and the next photograph shows the removed female minister Limor Livnat removed from the official photo. I think this not okay and unethical. There was a photograph were is was acceptable where Oil technician Bob Newton appears to have double hands but is not very noticeable and the pipe appears to have a double distortion. This not noticeable at all so its acceptable.

This photo is selected because its unethical because Bill Clinton and Fidel Castro did meet in New York, but no photographer was there to take this photograph so due to this the Daily News just faked and made up this photo.

This photo is selected because I feel that it was the most least unethical because without knowing the truth you would have never guessed that really wasn't Oprahs body. TV Guide just put Oprah's head onto Ann Margaret's body this is least unethical because its not noticeable at all. If you were to view this article you wouldn't think much of it, This is not as bad as others because its not noctible and no one would really care.
This is my favorite photo because I feel that the characteristic of this photo is really cool. Its underwater which involves an underwater camera its really cool how all the seals came together for an underwater photo like this.

The photo I would take to submit to the photo contest would have to be skateboarders skating because I'm always around them and there always filming and taking pictures of them skating. I feel this photo would be a great photo for all photographers to see.

George C. Gross, I chose this photo because the fact it was in black and white configures that it was an old photo. This photo caught my attention because I knew that they were set free from the death train as Jews that can now live their life in peace ans were set free from death. It made the top 40 cut because this also is based on true life that happened.
Tom McGeveran, I selected this photo because the moment I saw this I had already knew what he had went through. This photo caught my attention because I already knew this was at the World Trade Center. Yet this photo surely made the top 40 cut because its based on true life stories and its touching.
www.buzzfeed.com/.../most-powerful-photographs-ever-taken, I selected this photo because the caption grabbed my attention. This photo caught my attention because I feel that it was really sweet that he tried to escape over 200 times to see the girl he fell in love with. This photo made the top 40 because its based on true series that happened.

"Great black and white photographers, PART 2."
My great photographer that I selected from many photographers was "Stephen Shore"

Stephen shore is one of the most influential photographers because to me he inspires me. As well as a great photographer he is hes great at the outside art. Stephen shore was born in 1947 and just 6 years later he was interested in photography, he was sparked by his uncle who gave him a gift of a photographic darkroom kit. Three years later he was given a 35mm camera and he began taking his first color images. As much as it was his first time he much enjoyed doing it as well. Stephen shore enjoyed doing this so much he knew what he wanted to do with the rest of his life! When he turned 14 he presented much of his photographs to someone named Edward Steichen. He was curator of the Museum of Modern Art. Stephen Shore took photographs the ones he took were of ordinary people, places and events which what caught my attention and my eye that's why he inspires me. He made a book in 1982 called Uncommon Places which was also known as bible for photographers looking to shoot in color.

1. The “camera obscura” effect is latin for "dark room". This was the first camera. The hole acted like a lens, focusing and projecting light onto the wall of the dark chamber. Inside a completely dark room, a tiny hole is created in one wall. Through the hole light is focused, and the outside scene is projected (upside down) on the opposite wall.
2. The invention was the 17th century, the modern camera came one step closer when Isaac Newton and Christian Huygens perfected the understanding of optics and the process of making high quality glass lenses.
3.  The parts of the first modern camera, 1827 Joseph Nicéphore Niépce added the final touch. He added *film* to create the first successful photograph, and the modern camera was born. A glass lens, a dark box, and film.
4.  Modern digital cameras have in common are new cameras are very easy to use, just point and shoot. The camera's built-in computer handles focus and exposure so you don't have to.
5. Digital cameras use to capture an image is replacing old-fashioned plastic film, digital cameras capture the images with an electronic sensor called a CCD. Photographs are stored on reusable computer memory devices.
6. The difference between the Auto Mode and the Program mode are auto mode the camera will completely control flash and exposure. On most cameras this is labelled "auto", on others simply "A". Some cameras only have (P)rogram. The program mode are automatic-assist, just point and shoot. Unlike full auto mode, you can usually control flash and a few other camera settings.
7. The Portrait mode is used to attempt to blur out the background, camera will try to use the fastest available lens setting (aperture).
8. The Sports mode is used for to freeze motion, camera will use the highest shutter speed possible.
9. You do a half press on the trigger button to control focus, exposure, and more with the half-press shutter button technique. faster camera response time, more control over focus, encourages better composition.
10. Disabled Flash
no flash. There are many cases where you may not want flash at all. The mood of the photograph can sometimes be more dramatic when the natural light is used.
11. Auto-Flash
In most camera modes, Auto-flash is enabled by default and will automatically fire if the camera thinks it needs more light.
12. Your photo if there is too much light and the picture will be washed out.
13. If there is not enough light the picture will be too dark.
14. A “stop” is used in every aspect of photography to represent a relative change in the brightness of light. A relative measurement of light.
15. The stops brighter is the new planet are the new planet is identical to Earth, except that it has two suns instead of one.The answer is one.
16. Tops brighter is the new planet if there are four sons instead of two are two is the answer.
17. The effect a longer shutter speed of have is longer shutter speeds = more light.
18. The effect a shorter shutter speed have is shorter shutter speeds = less light.
19. The aperture control is the aperture is like a pupil. You can control the aperture by setting the "Aperture Opening", also known as an F-Stop.
20. You increase the amount of light for aperture
Smaller F-stops numbers = larger openings
larger openings = more light.

Camera, is a device that records images that can be stored directly, transmitted to another location, or both.
Lens, positioned in front of the camera's opening to gather the incoming light and focus all or part of the image on the recording surface.
Lens cover, covers and protects the lens during storage.
Rangefinder cameras, allow the distance to objects to be measured by means of a coupled parallax unit on top of the camera, allowing the focus to be set with accuracy.
Aperture, generally consists of an enclosed hollow with an opening (aperture) at one end for light to enter, and a recording or viewing surface for capturing the light at the other end.
Shutter, a mechanical device for opening and closing the aperture of a camera lens to expose film or the like.
Exposure, the act of exposing a photographic film or plate to light, X-rays.
Depth of field,
the range of distances along the axis of an optical instrument, usually a camera lens, through which an object will produce a relatively distinct image and much more clear.
F-stop, any of the settings for the f-number of a camera.
Focal length, The distance between the focal point of a lens (that is, the point at which the lens will focus parallel rays of light) and the lens itself.
Back part of Canon Rebel T3, The buttons that feature on the back of this camera are the zoom in/zoom out. The delete button, The menu button, The setting button, and the display button.
Top part of Canon Rebel T3, The buttons that feature on the back of this camera are the on/off button. The shutter button, The camera wheel including different features you can do to change the picture, The lens measurement and the on and off stabilizer.

Sebastiao Salgado
Garry Winogrand

Stephen Shore

I selected this photo because I think that I came out nice and clear, Although you can see the background is noticable very clear as well. My model has good posture eyes forward to the camera with a smirk. To accomplish a photo as you can see above, I pressed the flash button till the lens focused itself I held it nice and steady till it took to the picture clearly. I think this a great photo of my model and the background as well.
