Rules Of Photography

Depth of Field (shallow and wide)- What's in focus.

Light (angle and intensity)-Where is the light coming from? And the angle it comes in on plays a big roll of photography.

Shadows- The intensity of the light creates shadows. Where there is light there is shadows.

Diffusion- Changing the intensity of light.

Exposure- How the picture looks to our eyes.

Aperture (f-stop)-(Old fancy term for aperture.) Inside the lens how big the opening is.

Shutter speed-Is actually a mirror in the camera and the shutter speed tells us how fast it open and closes.

ISO-The sensor inside of the camera and how sensitive it is to light.

Types of lenses- Telephoto, Prime, Wide angle.

Prime- Cannot zoom at all.

Telephoto- Allows you to zoom in closer.

Wide Angle- Gives us a 160 degree angle for photos.
